Synopsis
Principles of Operation: The student is presented with
an overview of the Eagle 3000 Stage 3 and Century Control
systems. Comparisons are made between the two and their
use and applications. Block diagrams and flowcharts
are used in this discussion, which also includes a
discussion of machine and control alarms.
Input/Output
Devices: This section will deal with
the control structure, and the use and identity
of input and output devices. Troubleshooting techniques
will be included in this section.
Calibration: This discussion reviews the field calibration procedure
for the Eagle 3000 Stage 3 and Century controls. We
will identify special tools and documentation required.
Variations for specific machine types are discussed
as well.
Eagle
3000 Stage 3 and Century machines: A
brief discussion of Tech data sheets will start
each session. The importance of dynamic utility
pressures will be highlighted. Classroom lecture
will include application of each machine type and
a discussion of the available cycles. The use of
documentation such as cyclegraphs, flowcharts,
piping schematics and electrical schematics will
be covered as well. Hands-on lab exercises will
be incorporated throughout the program.
Eagle
3000 Stage 3 and Century Machines: The
program tree will be discussed. The programming
of cycles and machine software setup will be covered
both in classroom lecture and with hands-on lab
exercises. The use of the control "Service Mode" will
be discussed and used throughout these sessions.
PMP/PMA: A
discussion of the TEAM approach to maximizing equipment
uptime is central to the discussions throughout the
course. Performance roles of the parties involved will
be identified, and procedures will be identified and
reviewed. A review of the spare parts package will
be included. |
