Synopsis
Principles
of Application and Design: This discussion
will include a brief history of surgical tables,
and how they are specifically designed to meet
the needs of the end user. A glossary of terms
and definitions will be reviewed, and design features
identified and discussed.
Hydraulic
and Mechanical Systems and Components: This
discussion will center on STERIS specific applications
of parts and components within the hydraulic and
mechanical systems, their operation and the correct
adjustment procedures.
2080
and 3080 Surgical Tables: The operation
and maintenance of surgical tables will be included,
as well as the adjustment procedures for a complex
control system. The hands-on lab will demonstrate
minor adjustments which can adequately be performed
by the owner personnel.
PMP/PMA: A discussion of the TEAM approach to maximizing equipment
uptime is central to the discussions throughout the
course. Performance roles of the parties involved will
be identified, and procedures will be identified and
reviewed. A review of the spare parts package will
be included. |
