Maintenance
Training
The STERIS Service Training Department offers maintenance
and repair courses in Erie, Pennsylvania that cover
a broad spectrum of current product offerings. These
courses are available only to customers who own STERIS
equipment. Tuition rate for each course listed is
$5,750 (U.S.) and includes technical training, training
materials, maintenance manual, lodging, breakfast
and lunch at the training center, and local transportation
to and from the training center and airport.
Each class offering is designed
to:
- Identify the roles of the Owner maintenance
personnel and STERIS, as they relate to Product
Care.
- Discuss the application and use of each product.
- Provide instruction in the proper operation of
the product.
- Provide instruction on operational theory and
application of individual components that supports
the equipment operation.
- Provide instruction on Routine and Preventive
Maintenance procedures.
- Provide instruction on First Response Troubleshooting
of the products and methods of obtaining additional
technical support when needed.
- Discuss methods of parts procurement with emphasis
on Original Equipment Manufacturer materials.
- Provide appropriate training materials and resource listings for the equipment
covered in these courses.
